Almost time to tell!

Only a couple of days until our friends and family all know! That 12 week mark is like 12 lifetimes when you are waiting. I have so officially run out of excuses for why I am skipping happy hours, not having a glass of wine, why I am so tired, why I feel bad. I think everyone secretly knows and people are just humoring me at this point...

Day 73 - but who's counting?

I am counting! Holy moly 12 weeks couldn't get here fast enough. I don't think I could even wait 1 extra day to tell people. I hope the next few days go fast. It's getting harder and harder to hide this secret in my clothes! Whoever said that you "can't tell" during the first trimester must just not be looking close enough.

It's a tadpole! And, it's due on November 17.

So, I went to the doctor today with Scott for my first doctor appointment. I had my first sonogram and we saw the little tadpole on the screen! We even heard the heartbeat. It was seriously amazing. The doctor told us that we're due on November 17th! Who's cooking us Thanksgiving dinner? Any volunteers?
