Am-na-malls

Lauren is obsessed with animals right now (or as she says, am-na-malls). If she sees a group of animals, she will scream, "AMNAMALLS!" "AMNAMALLS!" "AMNAMALLS!" She loves to sing Old MacDonald and lists every animal that she can think of and the noise that it makes. And, yes, this could go on for hours. I'm always completely amazed how many animals she knows. And, if she doesn't know their noise, she sort of makes it up. What noise does a shark make anyways?

FEETball!

College football started this weekend--daddy's favorite time of year! Lauren quickly coined the term, "Feetball!" Every time she went in to the media room and saw a game on TV, she would yell, "feetball!" I think we have a junior football fan on our hands here...

Baby on wheels

Lauren has always been pretty active. She's never been a still, quiet child that just sat and hugged a stuffed animal or a doll. I see other little girls her age that will hold stuffed animals or a baby so sweetly and be content. Lauren wants to stack things, run, throw balls...definitely a little tomboy. I had sort of lost hope that she was ever going to find her baby dolls very interesting until we decided to try a baby stroller. Wow - you can put baby in this thing and run real fast with it? Score! Lauren loves it. Take the baby out of the stroller though, and she has lost all interest. Put the baby back in and give Lauren some room to run - and poof! Best toy ever.
