New layout!

I thought it was time to freshen up the blog! Hope you like the new layout. I'll add some other fun things to it when I have some time (hahaha).

Proud mom of a Fire Ant

We just signed up Lauren for a soccer league. That's right, 19 months old and playing soccer -- watch out Summer Olympics 2030. Soccer is actually really good for helping to develop her coordination, learning how to follow instruction, and for providing her parents a really entertaining photo opportunity. Things are changing

The last couple of weeks have been new territory for Lauren, Scott, and me. I went back to work! So, little Lauren entered the world of daycare. She's actually doing very well. Her teacher says she is a good helper and plays with all the other kids really well. Each day she gets a report card telling what she ate, how long she napped, and what she did for the day. She's already come home with some cute art projects and paint on her shirt--I think this is adorable! I miss her a lot during the day, but I know she's having so much fun and learning so many new things. Here she is sitting at the table with her little class:

It's getting H-O-T in Austin. Highs have been hitting the upper 90's, and well, that just means time to get out the swimming pool.
