Brewer Vacation!

We just got back from our first ever true family vacation! We decided to go to Florida and spend 3 nights at the beach (Cocoa Beach) and 3 nights at Disney. Our first few days at the beach were a blast. We feared rainy weather, but it turned out perfect! Our days were filled with boogie boarding, sand castle building, room service, and late night ice cream. 

 

 We followed our beach vacation with some Disney time for Lauren. We stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom resort and were able to see zebras, giraffes, and other animals directly off our balcony! It was amazing. We spent time playing at the resort and then two full days at Magic Kingdom. While, probably not the smartest thing in the world to take a 6 month old to DisneyWorld in August, we actually fared pretty well. We pulled off 2 full days, almost every ride in the park, a lunch in Cinderella's castle with all the princesses (which included a costume change for our girls!), and a late night to watch the Electrical Parade. It was a perfect vacation, amazing family time, and great way to close out summer before we send off Miss Lauren to kindergarten next week!
